Søren Plesner
CFA, FRM and PRM. Founding partner and CEO of BASISPOINT. Before co-founding BASISPOINT in 1995, Søren Plesner held positions at IBM, Danske Bank and a major, Nordic software house. Søren Plesner has many years of experience in teaching and consulting on financial subjects such as securities analysis, portfolio management, and risk management. Søren Plesner commands a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and has published numerous articles on a wide range of financial subjects in practitioners’ and academic magazines. Søren Plesner served on the Interim Board of PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers International Association).

Neil Servis
Neil Servis joined Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director in 2007. Heading the European CDO business, he is responsible for the structuring and distribution teams that issue CDO’s and credit funds across asset classes, in both cash & synthetic formats. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Neil has worked at Deutsche Bank, Citigroup & JP Morgan Chase , throughout a career spanning 17 years in a variety of trading, structuring and syndicate roles within the CDO & credit derivative arena.
Neil holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and a BSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Southampton University.

Christian Dinesen
Christian Dinesen is Head of European Credit Research and a Managing Director of Merrill Lynch, based in London. He is also the European Insurance Credit Analyst. Christian joined the Merrill Lynch fixed income research team in 2002.
Previously he was a Director/Team Leader responsible for Standard & Poor’s Insurance Financial Services Ratings in Europe.
From 1989 until joining S&P in 1999, Christian was a Director/part owner of Risk & Insurance Research Group Ltd, a management consultancy focused on insurance, risk financing and risk management. Christian also has experience as a manager of Texaco’s insurance company and a reinsurance broker in the London market for predecessor companies of Marsh and Heath Lambert.
He has attended courses at London Business School and Insead and obtained his BA (Hons) at University of London in Modern History, Economic History and Politics. Christian is Danish, but has lived in the UK since 1981.
