Finansforeningen/CFA Society Denmark byder velkommen til Private Banking Dagen 2023. I år har vi valgt at fokusere på fire forskellige temaer, nemlig den digitale kunderejse, regulering vedrørende formidlingsprovision, innovative opkøb inden for asset management og fremtidens brug af AI i den finansielle sektor.

Wealth Management industrien gennemgår i øjeblikket betydelige forandringer. En ny generation af private banking kunder og investorer med varierende forventninger og præferencer introducerer konstant nye standarder i branchen, og dette vil påvirke, hvordan rådgivning og investeringsprodukter leveres. Vi har bedt Jan-Philipp Kilian, Senior Vice President, Frederik Sandau Pedersen og Allan Marker Wive, Head of the Private Banking Execution Office – alle fra Danske Bank, til at give os indgående indsigt i den digitale kunderejse, for at lære mere om muligheder og udfordringer ved brugen af AI, det fremtidige datamiljø, predictive data & analytics samt de organisatoriske udfordringer ved digitalisering.

Nye regulatoriske retningslinjer er på vej, især i forhold til formidlingsprovisionen, som investorer i investeringsforeninger løbende betaler til pengeinstitutterne. Vi vil undersøge dette emne nærmere og har bedt David Moalem, Ph.D., partner i Bech-Bruun, og Christian Olsen, Regional Director hos Nordea Private Banking, om at dele deres viden og indsigt om dette tema, herunder hvilke implikationer afskaffelsen af formidlingsprovisionen vil have for både investorbeskyttelsen, forretningsmodellerne og de praktiske erfaringer med implementeringen af nye transparente clean-modeller i forretningsverdenen.

Den norske virksomhed Storebrand har aktivt deltaget i Fintech og relaterede selskaber, der kan drive innovationen. Med Storebrands investering i Quantfolio ønsker de at skabe nye tjenester inden for opsparing og formuerådgivning med et klart fokus på bæredygtige investeringer og samtidig opbygge fælles viden om kvantitative allokeringsmetoder samt støtte vejen til international ekspansion. Vi har inviteret Sara Thea Von Zernichow Sponheim fra Storebrand Asset Management og Jan Åge Skaathun, CCO hos Quantfolio, til at fortælle mere om deres rejse og om fremtidige implikationer ved brugen af data og digitale løsninger inden for investeringsrådgivning.

Jan-Philipp Kilian, Tribe Lead for Retail Investment Tribe, Senior Vice President. The Retail Investment Tribe (~180FTE) is responsible for maintaining and developing high quality, competitive and compliant customer journeys, processes and systems towards both, advisors and customers, across segments and markets. With a degree in Business Studies and Economics and work experience from Management Consulting, Jan-Philipp joined Danske Bank in 2015 and has been in different business transformation and strategy-related roles, leading business teams working in close collaboration with IT recently as Tribe lead.

Frederik Sandau Pedersen

Retail Investment Tribe, Danske Bank

Frederik Sandau Pedersen is a Product Owner at Danske Bank. In Retail Investment Tribe, he leads initiatives to enhance the digitalization of investment advice, ensuring a high quality, competitive and compliant customer journey. Since joining Danske Bank in 2018, he has held roles in customer insights and business development. Formerly a consultant for big tech companies, Frederik brings a deep understanding of human interaction with digital solutions. He holds a MSc in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School.

Allan Marker Wive

Head of the Private Banking Execution Office, Danske Bank

Allan Wiwe is heading the newly established Strategy Execution Office in Global Private Banking at Danske Bank. He has a background within digital business models and fintech from Saxo Bank, where he was heading various teams across the commercial value chain since 2015, including a digital transformation office, before assuming leadership of the global private sales organisation.

David Moalem, Ph.D.

Partner, Bech-Bruun

David Moalem is a partner in Bech-Bruun and is heading the firm’s capital markets and regulatory team. He is a leading practitioner within capital markets, financial institutions, investment funds & managers and ESG. David Moalem holds a Master of Laws from the University of Aarhus and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern Denmark.

Christian Olsen

Regional Director, Nordea Private Banking

Christian er ansvaret for HNW segmentet i Nordea Private Banking og har været tæt på Nordeas transformation til formidlingsprovisionsfrie fonde.

Sara Thea Von Zernichow Sponheim

Client Services & Transformation, Storebrand Asset Management

Sara Thea Sponheim is Head of Client and Fund Management in Storebrand Asset Management which is Norway’s largest private asset manager. She is based in Oslo and is responsible for product management, operational client processes and digitalization. Her major focus is to build a client centric organization and boost digitalization to create value beyond return. Sponheim sits on the board of Quantfolio and Storebrand Fonder AB in Sweden

Jan Åge Skaathun

Chief Commercial Officer, Quantfolio

Chief Commercial Director and Co-Founder of Quantfolio, Jan Skaathun is on of two founders of the Norway based Fintech Quantfolio which delivers omni channel advisory technology with sustainable finance at the core for leading Nordic banks and wealth managers such as Storebrand, Sbanken/DNB, Sparebank1 group, Local Tapiola among some. As a serial entrepreneur he has founded/co-founded multiple tech companies, and is an active early stage investor with a passion for sustainable finance. Skaathun is an active participant in the Norwegian Fintech scene and a participating member of the Sustainability working group at Norway´s national cluster organization, Finance Innovation
