Curious about the status on blockchain?

As a follow-up on our webinar last year on blockchain, we have now invited Dr. Omri Ross, eToro and eToroX Labs Denmark and Rune Christensen, Maker Foundation and MakerDAO to give us a status on blockchain.

Omri Ross will be providing an in-depth review of recent industrial and academic developments in decentralized finance. The presentation will open with a practical review of the stakeholder incentives and trade-execution mechanisms of ‘automated market maker protocols’ such as Uniswap, Curve and ‘decentralized lending protocols’ such as Compound and Aave. Having established a practical understanding of the mechanisms behind these innovative financial products, the presentation proceeds with an evaluation of the long-term implications for financial services with an emphasis on trade execution, transparency, and regulation.

Rune Christensen walks us through MakerDAO’s model for collateralizing the DAI stablecoin and how the decentralized project is rebuilding core financial infrastructure with a focus on inclusion, transparency, and positive impact.

After both presentations we will have a moderated debate between the two speakers, with the possibility of questions from the participants.
