In response to Russia’s recent invasion of Ukraine, investors are facing urgent questions and decisions on how to incorporate conflict, sanctions and sovereign risk into investment decision-making, risk analysis, engagement, and potential subsequent divestment. In turn, ESG providers have had to reassess research methodologies for country and corporate risks, update and publish new corporate and sovereign ratings that incorporate the growing conflict and its global geo-political implications.

Dansif is hosting a webinar on investing in a time of a highly volatile conflict, the research methodologies behind sovereign risk assessments and ratings, and the legal implications of sanctions. The speakers will also touch upon the broader perspectives as the current situation could entail a paradigm shift for responsible investors.

Please join our speakers:

  • Laura Nelson Marusic, Senior Attorney, Kromann Reumert
  • Søren Larsen, Head of ESG, Nykredit
  • Valiant Ip, Director, Product Management, Sustainalytics

Language and format: The presentations will be in English and the webinar will be held via Microsoft Teams

Who may attend:

Members of Dansif, The Danish Finance Society (Finansforeningen), Norsif, Swesif, Finsif and IcelandSIF.
