AI is developing fast, and through time we have observed how it has evolved from the initial hype, raising both frightening prophecies and fascinating expectations, through experimentation, to the present, where working products and applications are on the rise. At the Danish Finance Society/CFA Society Denmark we have followed and presented this development over the past 10 years through conferences and seminars.

The prophecies are still here, but they are now being challenged by reality as we begin to see AI in practical use. On one hand, we see that it is not so straightforward to achieve robust results with AI in the media, stories about what could be achieved with AI have partly been replaced by examples of how AI has gone wrong in practice. There is also considerable focus on job losses due to AI, which, however, seems somewhat unnuanced. AI can perform functions and tasks, however, increasing productivity leads to growth, including in jobs, overall.

At the webinar, you will hear from two companies, that have successfully used agentic AI to solve concrete problems in financial markets. Rasmus Gars Holm, Co-founder at Kompose and Igor Tesinsky, CEO & Founder at Intellibonds/IBT Technologies, will explain how they deploy the technology and how they take it to commercial value. They will also discuss how they see AI impacting the labor market and how individuals can navigate AI themselves.

The session will be moderated by Carsten Just and will conclude with an open discussion, inviting participants to reflect on the implications for the future of work and their own role in an AI-driven landscape.
